Laree’s steelpan music makes a beautiful addition to your tropical destination wedding. Laree specializes in beach weddings and other scenic outdoor settings in the Southeast. We offer several different options which can be customized to create your own unique, memorable tropical event.
The three main parts of most weddings are the ceremony, a cocktail hour, and the main reception. Laree can perform any or all of these functions for you. For the ceremony, Laree has a repertoire of many of the most popular sacred and secular instrumentals arranged for solo steelpan. The sacred pieces include “The Bridal Chorus,” “Jesu Joy of Man’s Desire,”Canon in D,” “The Wedding March,” and many others. Part of Laree’s unique offering is the subtle accompaniment of backing tracks through a portable system so that this sweet ensemble sound can be played on the beach or any outdoor setting. For ceremony performances, we include up to 30 minutes of prelude music.

Our most popular package is to have Laree perform for the ceremony and the cocktail hour. We can set up at two locations, so that after the ceremony Laree can meet your guests and entertain them with a mix of island music and light pop while the photographers take care of your portfolio. And if you like, we recommend Laree’s band Windjammer for the reception for dance music.
